All immigrants to the US have suffered bigotry and prejudice, I simply choose not to blame blacks for still being subjects of all sorts of stereotypes. I see that they make up 12% of the pop. but a larger pop. of the prisons and I see a corrupt law enforcement culture, not a corrupt culture of humans.
I recorded those videos a while ago, I've gotten a lot of comments and messages very similar to yours, and I have done a considerable amount of thinking on the subject.
I know that not all whites are racist, and I know that people of color are capable of prejudice. Generally when people talk about "whitey," it doesn't even really imply ethnicity. The terms black and white have been used to describe class, rather than skin. In a sense, the term "white privilege" can be a redundancy, where "white" itself means "privilege" rather than white skin.
