Green Twilight was formed in 2004 in Bernalillo after bassist Robert Olson and guitarist Matthew Semarge started playing and writing music together. Shortly thereafter Jesse Rossbach joined as the drummer of the band. This incarnation of the band was short lived, as the members Semarge and Olson joined the Metal band Falling In through 2005. Green Twilight reconvened at the end of 2005, as Falling In disbanded. GT could be found practicing at 987 1/2 Studios or playing shows at Bernalillo High School once again with drummer Jesse Rossbach but adding bassist Benjamin Durand playing 5 and 6 string bass. This form of Green Twilight continued into the beginning of summer 2007, when drummer Jesse Rossbach lost contact with the band. At the same time as the departure of the drummer, longtime musician and friend of the band, Johnny Murphy joined on as keyboardist. After several months of writing and playing together Murphy announced his decision to leave the band. Green Twilight plays an annual show on the 3rd Saturday of September.
