I am not affiliated in any way with the Green Tortoise. I am merely one of their past customers, who has written about his experiences, which he found unsatisfactory, and was amazed and mildly amused to see how much of a fuss arose in response to that modest (and scrupulously accurate) account.
I'll be covering some of the issues that arose in the course of that piece (see Google profile, linked to from this page), including hostels, Burning Man, gluten free cooking and travel alternatives to the Green Tortoise. Maybe find other ways of getting to the places they go, and show you what I find when I get there.
