About Green Crescent
This charity was created by a handful of students in 1998 from the United Kingdom and Bangladesh (bengalis and non-bengalis) who became tired of criticising others and decided to do whatever possible to make life that much better for those in society who have very little.
The charity is registered in Bangladesh and in the UK. We are a non political charity. Our aim is to carry out humanitarian work where ever and whenever the need arises.
Our key focus is on regeneration and self sustainable work - with a emphasis on education. Hand-outs is not our way - we believe in helping the needy help themselves.
