The Greater Cedar Rapids Open is a non-profit organization established in 1999. Its mission is to conduct a professional golf tournament that will: 1) provide a showcase for aspiring professional golfers from around the world; 2) promote the game of golf as a "lesson in life" and a "game for a lifetime"; 3) highlight the hospitality and cooperation of the local community; and, 4) benefit area non-profit organizations that provide recreational opportunities for local youth.
