Wishing things moved slower

This is a poem i really like that was posted on deviant art i don't care whether you like it or not but it caught my attention so i'm posting it.
Coldcity
A drop of love is heavier than bricks of hatred.

A war with your self is a distracted mind,
a war with others is a distracted world.

In this war, no blood is shed,
the world is too busy crying,

Love keeps dying when vengeance keeps smiling.
A bullet to the heart means no pain,
when gestures of hate already stain.

Hatred so selfish; too heavy for this world.
Love; you'll live much faster.

A dying war means growing minds,

When the world realizes more than life,
only then I bleed, knowing I will die in a peaceful place.
