About this user

I wrote The Will to Survive to give hope to anyone who needs it at a very dark point in their life - but especially kids battling cancer.

I've been battling a really aggressive cancer (Adrenalcortical Carcinoma) since just after my 16th birthday. I'm almost 20 now.

The song was produced by Garth Richardson, who has produced and engineered for all kinds of amazing bands like Hedley, Chevelle, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Nickelback (aka, NICEST guy, and epic producer!).

He also recently co-produced with Bob Ezrin the Young Artists for Haiti's version of K'naan's "Waivin' Flag."

Working with a legendary producer was thrilling and gave all of us an opportunity to share our voice and story with you.

Thank you for viewing and listening to "The Will To Survive". September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month so please share the song and its message to help raise awareness throughout the world.

I've chosen to donate proceeds to childhood cancer causes, in particular, The James Fund for Neuroblastoma Research and BCCCPA, a childhood cancer parents' association.

Proceeds from all sales from iTunes and Amazon MP3 will be donated to the fight to end childhood cancer.
