I'm an amateur film maker and I don't dream of Hollywood (or Hillywood), I just want to tell a story by means of moving pictures, express myself in a video, or just entertain you.
Some make better videos because they spend a lot of money on the "right" equiment, including a large array of professional hard- and software for marvelous special effects. But my goal is to make the best I can with the equipment I have (a Sony DCR-HC27 Handycam and a MacMini or MacBook using iMovie HD) - because I don't have the money for professional equiment. It takes creativity to do so, creativity I miss when watching the next video with "sfx from stock".
Having said that, I think the "crappy amateur side" of some videos are more a statement of style. On the other side, YouTube converts my videos like I've made them with a cheap telephone... sorry.
In the playlist you might find a lot of weird stuff, including Steampunk and Punkrock from Transylvania.
