PROJECTA DZTRAX is an American born emcee, Producer, and Recording engineer who started with his musical imprint playing trumpet in his adolescence. PROJECTA then started to realize the link between jazz and hip-hop. As time progressed he then took his ability to read music and understand music theory that he learned in his high school marching band to advance and receive his Associate of Science in the Recording Arts. PROJECTA then began to see how hard it is to be successful in the entertainment industry. Feeling that he needed more than a degree saying that he knew how to record professionally he then proceeded on to receive a certificate for Extended Studies in the Media Arts at 102 Jamz Radio, which in return did nothing for his musical career seeing that he did not want to DJ or be a radio personality. PROJECTA's passion for movies led him to be a Projectionist at a movie theatre, which he then went on to be General Manager of, and then gave up the position to be a Projectionist again because of his desire to have control over presentations. The want to be secluded from the rest of the world but yet still share his skill came the title of PROJECTA DZTRAX. PROJECTA has a vision of helping other artists like himself, by promoting and tracking their songs if they share his same vision, hence DZTRAX.
