About GospelKnights
The Mt. Vernon GospelKnights is a gospel choir program that operates within the Mt. Vernon City School District. Since 1989 the program has offered choir, dance and fashion shows using gospel music as its foundation. The Program is under the direction of its founder Carson Stapleton. The Program has been on NY affiliates of ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, MY9, and local TV stations. The GospelKnights program runs from Sept to May or each school year. The summer Program called GK Coach runs from June to August and is made up of present members as well as GEMS and Alumni.
