As soon as I saw this on youtube home page.. my brain said, "HOLY FUCK! THE 101 YEAR OLD FROM REDDIT!"

I remember hearing this song all the time when I was little. But the first time I really appreciated it, I was in Yearbook. And I just got up- and danced.

I know that I might sound like every other comment. But ever sense I've watched super 8 (Which, I first watched when it was in the theaters,) I've had this song in the back of my head.

Hmm. I believe the rap is actually pretty good. Mind you, I'm not into rap at all. But like Maniac7575 said, they aren't rapping about sex, bitches, fame, money, or drugs. It has meaningful lyrics, therefore, I think it's kinda cool.

In my little town, we have this groovy independent Thrift Store that sells vinyls, tapes, CD's, and cool New Wave Clothes. Every month they make a free sampler CD, and they had this song, Tom Waits, DeVotchKa, and so many other great bands.

@YemeniteCamel I totally agree, but every band has it's front man. The Beatles was John Lennon, Sex Pistols were Sid Vicious, Pixies was Frank Black, The Doors was Jim Morrison, and so on..

Even I, an underage girl, can say Kim is sorta kinda Hot!

This song kinda reminds me of the Dead Milkmen..

Frank and the rest of the gang would rarely play this song because it seemed to give the band a bad image, as it seemed more up-beat and poppy compared to the rest of their strictly "alternative" songs.

But hell. I still absolutely love it :)

I was lucky enough to see Portishead last month with my Mom, who introduced me to them at a very, very, early age. This was one of the best songs they played. :)

The only reason I watched the whole thing, was because I was like, "Holy Shit! It's Where is my Mind!"

I love this song. So much. But, am I the only one who see's the similarities between this and Lullaby by The Cure? It's alright though.. because both bands kick ass. :)

When my mom played the Gorillaz when I was 3, I loved them and sang along. When I was 9, This song got me back into them. When I was 11, I came across the Demon Days CD and adored it. 12- Gorillaz concert and Noodle for Halloween. 13. Still a frequent listener. 14- Damn, this stuff is still amazing!

I love this song. The Gorillaz have been with me for nearly all my life. And I love The XX. This is a beautiful cover :).
