My names Joseph Tan and I am a disabled filmmaker from England. Ever since I was a child I've had ambitions to work in film and animation but actually getting to where I am now has been a long and hard process.

I suffer a rare condition called Tetralogy of Fallot, which means my arteries connecting my heart and lungs are undeveloped and in one case totally missng. I also suffer from multiple holes in my heart, scoliosis of the spine and asthma.

My health continues to get worse with each year and how long my body will be able to cope is anyones guess, but I dont let it worry me. I'm currently enjoying my life, the people who are part of it and the work that goes with it. I look ahead at all times and never back.
