Dedicated to: Many American music that talk too much about sex and drugs.
And everyone else, so that they learn of the consequences behing doing drugs, drinking alcohol, and having unsafe sex.
Please read through the description, from beginning to finish, so that this song may make more sense.
Gaahh I intended to compose lyrics to this piano piece that related with something along the lines of love and those mushy things xD
But I have this thing for sad stories, and I just played around with the song and ended up making this weird song...
I must admit, it wouldn't make sense that much after listening to it once
But!! There's a story behind the lyrics ;)
So first, 'closed walls' doesn't necessarily mean prison, but it can in a way.
This is actually in a hospital room, and the 'closed walls' was just meant to 'imprison' the singer.
And it seems that there is someone dying, right? 'you'll live to see another day' so the singer wants someone to live on.
The singer is singer her song to a person, saying that as he stays away from school, people will eventually forget him.
This tends to happen a lot in real life, especially my own. I have a friend who was really popular in my class, and she moved to California.
For the first few months she was gone, everyone mentioned her name a lot. Now, it rarely comes up in conversations, and it kind of makes me sad that humanity really can't remember their friends for too long.
The 'forsaken world' just tells listeners that I'm not a fan of humanity as of right now xD
It can also represent the fact that sometimes, when you lose something, it's lost forever.
'It seems that Adam's apple wasn't enough after all.'
In the Bible, Adam ate the forbidden apple and gained knowledge, as so did Eve.
Here, the singer says that the knowledge wasn't enough.
'Chains surrounded your body as it did with my own;' the singer implies the fact that something is holding them down.
For the 'guy,' it is more literal with the tubes that is usually found in many hospital rooms, that just like, puncture your skin and hurts -____-
I made it more literal mainly because, you know, it was in a hospital. But it can be seen also as Adam, who gained strength to protect Eve.
In the girl's parts, Eve, it's more emotional chains holding her down. She is depressed and can't move when she attempts to.
The pulsing heart beats part was a bit more random without much meaning... Like you hear those beeps that measure your pulse and heart rate and stuff.
And once it reaches zero, there's a long beep and you're pretty much dead? Yea, that one.
In the end, 'Eve' says 'It's my fault after all' (wasn't included in the song) so before the guy is hospitalized, something happened that triggered the whatever injury, disease, etc.
If you look back, there's a part that says that Adam's apple wasn't enough, or that the knowledge they had wasn't enough. So they tried something new.
Or someone or something told them to try something new. In most cases, people would think of the snake that made Adam eat the forbidden apple, no? xD
So summarizing the whole story, basically there's a guy and a girl. The guy is hospitalized, there are tubes around his body and stuff.
The girl is next to him, chained down by her emotional stress, at apparently the walls of the hospital? xD
And something happened that triggered the injury, and the girl thinks it's her fault.
But really, it's probably the snake's fault for making Adam eat the apple xD

They are so weird.
I'm sorry for making this on Valentine's Day.
It's not romantic at all.
But I wanted to teach so many Americans that sex, drugs, and alcohol isn't the best thing in the world.
In fact, it's horrible. And this can happen to anyone who tries them. See, Eve is sad because she couldn't stop her Adam!
Now step up and never do drugs, drink alcohol, and pretty much have unsafe sex.
There are so many American music about sex and drugs, that sometimes what one needs is a reminder to tell us that humanity is becoming more corrupt.
