NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION!

We are "Golfers 4 Liberty", a radicalized splinter faction conglomerated from several local civil rights groups. Originally, we organized for a Tax Day Tee Party counter-counter-protest, and we've been implementing our mission ever since. Our politics are extreme, but our demands are simple:

a) Congress must immediately pass the Military Readiness Enhancement Act;

b) the U.S. Congress must pass the Respect for Marriage Act;

c) the Congress must pass the Employment Non-Discrimination Act;

d) Congress must pass the Responsible Education About Life Act;

e) Congress must pass the Safe Schools Improvement Act:

f) and the Congress must pass the Family and Medical Leave Inclusion Act;

Our protests, and counter-, counter-protests and demonstrations will continue, informally, and in individual direct-actions, until such time as these demands are met.

On the morning of the Tax Day Tee Party our spokesperson, Randy Reamer, defended our group's vision in a short but provocative statement: "There's too much conformity within the teabagging community, and we felt the need to voice our individuality. While some Tax Day tea-partiers prefer to wear colonial costumes at Tea Party protests, we chose to come out this season with a fresh, contemporary look, with broad appeal for the modern man."

Don't get us wrong--we're as patriotic as the next guy. But why should we celebrate ancient acts of piracy, property theft, and environmentally unsound ocean-dumping? Besides, velvet jackets and frilled shirts play into negative stereotypes about gay men, and high-heels with buckles is, like, sooooo 1773.

With an emphasis on style, as well as substance (though admittedly with a greater emphasis on style elements), our movement's philosophical bases are objectivism and rational egotism. Our themes are regimentation, free-association, fellowship, seamanship, respect for individual achievement, and golf. Our official mascot is an adorable little woodchuck named 'Oooolong'. (However, there continues to be a controversy on this issue, and a significant bloc within our group insists that he's actually a species of 'prairie marten.' The working group assigned to resolve this dispute is currently meeting every other Tuesday.)

Tax Day Tee Partiers and their spouses, partners, families, friends and allies, will continue to demonstrate fabulous fashion sense throughout the greater Boston area, wearing many contemporary and classic styles--including outrageous tams, golf gloves, and visors; plaid knickers with knee-socks; khaki shorts; argyle sweater-vests with Izod pique cotton shirts; and/or cardigans, kilts, and cap-toed Calloways.

Many consider ours to be a 'fringe' group, but actually we prefer clean, crisp lines, and an 'uncluttered' look.

Our organization is very proud of our participation at the Tax Day Tee Party protests. Although dedicated to these causes, we mostly wanted to have a last hurrah! before we ship out after shore leave, and after witnessing 2 many of the words of the Lord, we spontaneously engaged in a massive teabagging demonstration. We had a ball--after which we all went clubbing.
