I hope all of you had an amazing start into 2012!
It began with a few difficulties for me, I'm using my Mac now since my old PC is almost unusable, but things are not working according to plan just yet, there are still many things I have to fix in order to record properly again.
Well, against all odds I still recorded this piece yesterday since it gave me a huge earworm and I couldn't get it out of my head anymore~
"Yuki no hana" is a beautiful ballad and a very popular song in Japan - but, to be totally honest, I didn't recognize it before, GACKT and his band YFC recently appeared on TV and G mentioned it so I was curious. I heard it, it made me weep, I fell in love: Voliá! XD
(Major fail on my side for not listening to it before - bear with me! OTL)
I've included a translation below, check it out, the lyrics are wonderful~
This song was also adapted into English, Korean, Mandarine and Cantonese, which made me think - how about a German version? What do you guys think?
To make a long story short, I had a lot of fun singing this and I really hope I can fix my computer very soon - there's a lot of stuff coming up, stay tuned!

Ahhh, I'm so happy this is done, really - my equipment problems are still not fixed, instead a new error occured XD
Oh well, nothing I can do about that right now and atleast I'm able to record, though with a few limitations - anyways, to make a long story short:
I'm in love with this song and couldn't resist to cover it - same precedure as always, I guess *lol*
This is part of the soundtrack for a pretty popular anime series and the special thing about this song is that it's actually almost entirely in german (with a few english bits) - isn't that cool? *_*
It was tricky to sing since the original singer was Japanese and while her singing is absolutely amazing, her pronunciation of the german lyrics is- Well, kinda hard to understand for Germans *lol* (Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the Original)
Anyways, it was fun to try and sing this as a german person ♥
Since there is no official instrumental for this song I played and recorded the first minute with my midi-keyboard in "Garageband" - I don't play any instruments yet (it's one of my goals this year to learn) and I played it by ear - bear with me, I will work hard to improve my skills.
