Final Fantasy VII was a good game, but like you said, it gets more recognition than it should. There are other games that came before it that were a million times better. If the only thing anyone remembers about Final Fantasy is Final Fantasy VII, I will cry and probably shoot myself in the head.

If they do end up shitting on themselves, I think only the older fans would remember their great legacy. I don't think many of the younger fans would even acknowldedge any Final Fantasy game before X.

And thus, begins the inevitable decline of one of the most precious gaming companies...
Why? Because those damn weeaboos ruin EVERYTHING.
Pretty soon only weeaboos will pay attention to Square Enix because the TRUE fans have already moved on with their lives.

Square Enix actually needs to hurry up for their own benefit. I'm pretty sure they've lost tons of fans since the Kingdom Hearts series is really lagging.

The old Final Fantasies I've found were very expensive, though. It's much easier to download them on PSN. They're about $10 each.
I'm only a freshman in High School, so I'll still be in high school by the time Square releases it's soon-to-be masterpiece *.*
I think, if Square doesn't half-ass it, that it will be the most epic game ever created...

I do have some Kingdom Hearts paraphernalia from Hot Topic, but I only bought it because it's actually of use to me. I have a blanket that I sleep with every night and a hat that I wear when it gets cold. I don't have any thing of the Final Fantasy series except for a Moogle my dad bought for me as a present, which I hug in my sleep >.>
Some people could argue that older games are hard to get, but that is a terrible lie. Most of the game have been remade on newer platforms, and with the Playstation Network, you can instantly purchase and download Playstation One originals.
Kingdom Hearts deserves better. The production of the games is severely lagging. The last main title was released in 2005. That's seven years ago. Kingdom Hearts 3 probably won't come out until another two years, and that's if Square Enix hurries up.
