Oh dear oh dear - so reactionary we are - we can't even bother to see context. I was replying to someone who commented that the US is a country of diverse languages so if they wanted to hear English only they should go to England. WHat I was trying to point out was that that is an untrue statement - that after living in London and hearing about 15 languages a day, one cannot say that people in England only speak English. But then you had to come along and be all rude with your knee-jerk (emphasis on the jerk) reaction. Its a shame.

I have no idea how that goes. tell me about it.
