I knew a dude who was in the metal band Post Mortum. I loved Slipknot until they lost this edge. He put it perfect. Purists won't love them, but old school Slipknot brought death metal from obscurity to mainstream, and that is a good thing whether you like them or not.

Sorry, I can't stand Max. Dude has a sweet voice for metal, but he is one of the biggest jerks in the history of music, and for that reason alone I can't listen to him or go to shows with him. Despite what he tells the world, he is not a God. And you ask me, Flynn did a pretty good job with it.

This just makes you realize how incredibly original Type O was. I mean, they don't do a terrible job at this, but there is nobody in metal even close to Steele's voice and for that matter, there is nobody close to his bass tone, and this really showcases that.
