Cuan grande es El
Señor mi Dios al contemplar los cielos
El firmamento, y las estrellas mil
Al oír tu voz en los potentes truenos
Y ver brillar el sol en su cenit...

A question asked of me from CommandmentsOfGod was,"Please tell me if you can... in the bible in the book of Acts...chapter 2 verse 38 ...is that a commandment of Jesus"
Actually Jesus did make that commandment in Matthew 28:18-20
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them IN THE NAME of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen
Jesus said to baptize In the name of the Father and the name of the Father is Jesus, notice also that Jesus said to baptize in the Name which is singular and not plural, so when Jesus asked Peter in Matthew 16:13-19
13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
If you look at this passage of scripture where it talks about Jesus giving Peter authority, the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven and giving him the power to bind and loose things on earth, the authority that Jesus gave Peter is what allowed Peter to be used to carry on the plan of salvation that had been symbolic in the Old Testament and fulfilled in the New Testament, Jesus said in .Matthew 5:17-18
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Plus if you look at 1 Corinthians 8:4 (King James Version)
4 As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
John 14:7-10 (King James Version)
7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
John 10:24-30
24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
30 I and my Father are one.
So in saying all that, I come back to your original question
" Please tell me if you can... in the bible in the book of Acts...chapter 2 verse 38 ...is that a commandment of Jesus"
The answer to that question my friend is, Yes and undoubtedly Yes.
For as you see Jesus plainly gave the answers that He is God and God's name is Jesus and so when Peter preached for them to be Baptized IN THE NAME of Jesus Christ yes that was a commandment.
I hope that helps to answer your question, if it doesn't then perhaps I can explain it more to you, but I really appreciate you asking me that.
