About this user

Shmoo was born October of 2006 and hand fed for 11 months from a private breeder. She's an amazing part of our family who goes everywhere, even camping. She thrives on learning new tricks and we are currently teaching her to play basketball. I allow her wings to grow out during the winter months so that she can fly free around the house. She loves that, but in time becomes quit aggressive towards Elmo to the point of , dive bombing him. She is however trained to fly to me on command or where ever I point to. During the summer months when she can go outside, I clip her wings (as much as it pains me to do so) it allows her to go places outside the home with me without fear of losing her. She has an large indoor cage with a small playpen cage near by in our living room and a large outdoor cage on our large covered patio where she is placed open caged everyday (weather permitting) for her enjoyment to watch the other birds, and our waterfall pond. She loves to take her baths outside or simply flap her wings while screamming in joy. Did I mention she's potty trained? We love her dearly.
