GOD is nothing more than 4 guys doing what they love and spreading it to the masses. They have picked metal for their expression of art due to its high energy, and "fuck you" attitude towards the inhumane, non-critical thinking world we live in today. Scientifically motivated, they ironically chose a name that they have made their own...tired of the logical fallacy of all religions and the defeatist attitude they have towards the human race, they took this universal word that most worship, and put it in the reflection of themselves and the human race, metaphorically saying we are the gods of our own existence. We can create or destroy, be compassionate or selfish, and can be absolutely self-aware...aware of the universe. Our definiton of god is as follows: A self-aware, emotionally and mentally balanced, evolving(in every aspect) human being. Are you a GOD?

Enough with the philosophy...musically, GOD has been influenced by many, and it shows in their music, if you were to label them anything, you would be calling them something different with every song. Catchy guitar riffs entwined with a powerful bass that makes each song, throw in some unorthodox drumming and passionate vocals with "in your face" lyrics, and you have GOD. (No religious bullshit included)
