Let Me Set This World On Fire

Burning like a flame inside me the music rises and spills from my lips. The lyrics sung a thousand times, always perfect but never right. All I can do, like a bird in a cage, is sing for the sorrow and the rage. Sing for the pain and the tears from all these years. Silence surrounds the crowd and when I finish there is no appaules. Because it's only me in this mirror waiting for somebody to come and tell me the real crowd is waiting outside. But the silence burn's and I learn there's nothing. Just the band in my head.
