The 'Sons of Gnotta' were the first known settlers to be I.T.A. of Grove. They must have been a musical lot because they left this area with a magically musical heritage, One that has enchanted musicians who were drawn here. As well as the locals who had been surrounded by music from day one.
This area has produced some of the most innovative, creative and inspirational musicians in the world over the past fifty years.
Some of the worlds best and well known musicians have come from or lived in Grove at some point.
And as one fine and wise resident once said "Hell yeah, you tell 'em that yeah, we black, an yeah we Irish, but we aint no-ones dog, an never will be. ya hear?"
