What a lovely blast from the past. This song brings back so many happy memories for me, it's absolutely beautifully written by the great Michel LeGrand and performed by Noel Harrison, who I believe was the son of Rex, the great British movier actor.

I loved this. What a great live version and what a tribute to the great man himself sitting there. I always wonder what these great songwriters feel when they hear their own music performed by other artists. It must be an enormous buzz. I also have to say, Dave Grohl is just amazing. Great video. Watching and listening gave me goosebumps. We all know the boss has been the rock and roll messiah for the past 35 years, but to see him tributed like that and to see the love so many famous people really feel for him and his music is truly humbling. God bless him.

Oh dear. LIke all Boss fans around the world, I'd have gotten a real kick out of his son being a chip off the old block, but it pains me to say there must be at least 100 million people around the world who sing better than he does. How does that happen?
