Please look up the dictionary meaning of that word before you engage in conversation. Every day courts imprison people for Conspiracy to defraud, Conspiracy to commit murder, etc.
A conspiracy is if a kid has a lemon aid stand and he advertises fresh squeezed lemons charging top dollar but instead uses the stuff in the packets.
The kid conspired to defraud his customers. Now if you suspected he was not using real lemons but instead using the packets then you just created a conspiracy theory. Now simply see this on a much larger scale.
There is nothing stupid about having a conspiracy theory but in fact most conspiracy theories turn out to be proven true in the long run.
