Welcome to The Kennedy Family Channel. We are Joe and Dana with Children Michael, Gavin and Amethyst. We live on a 30 acre small sustainable agriculture farm. Our address is 181 Shadow Lake Road in Glover, VT 05839 located in orleans county of the northeast kingdom or NEK.

We share videos of the pastoral bucolic local landscape and our life events. Many lakes, brooks, streams, beautiful pastures, woodlands, dairy farms and a preservationist residential population of patriots makes the NEK one of the most coveted and beloved geographys in the world. A favorite destination for travelers enjoying freedom, hiking, fishing, hunting, skiing, boating, and so much more. The northeast kingdom of Vermont harbors intellectuals and idealists, artists and craftspeople of all guilds, with a high per capita of published writers most notable of these.

I'm supportive. I love my family. I'm a micro-farmer. I'm also a marketing and sales communications specialist. I was a closet technophile geek in the early 80's. Now I'm a self taught PC expert, HTML author. digital graphic artist and successful netrepreneur. My first OS was MS DOS. The first loan I ever took was to buy my first state of the art PC with a massive 40 meg hard drive, 256K of RAM, a cutting edge 4 color VGA monitor and dot matrix printer that booted with a 5 1/4' floppy disk. I've been working online since 1995 building web sites for profit and fun.

Dana is my perfect mate. A very kind compassionate soul. She's a wonderful Mom. Dana is smart and resourceful and kind. She earned a Bachelors degree in Agriculture and History from Vermont College of Fine Arts in Montpelier. She is also a licensed practicing Phlebotomist with Microbiology Lab skill's and more. She's one of the best Phlebotomists on earth.

We have 3 really great kids. Our eldest son Michael graduated from Husson University - Magna Cum Laude in MAY 2010. He is an active inducted member of Sigma Theta Tau. He is a Registered Nurse. He was offered and accepted a position in the trauma and intensve care unit with the MAYO Clinic in Rochester MN. Mike is now doggedly pursuing his Masters Degree while attending Concordia University Wisconsin's Class of 2014 · he plans to be a Family Nurse Practitioner. He's knocking out straight A's as usual.

Gavin graduated HS fully certified in computer networking. Ho Hum....He has attended Vermont Tech and Husson University completing two years of studies in several areas including but not limited to Computer Sciences and Communicatons, English, Secondary Education or Teaching, etc..which undoubtedly is not much of a challenge for Gavin. I know he finds such pursuits entirely unsatisfying to his needs. Gavin has instinctively relocated to the cerebral artsy Portland Oregon area to pursue what his soul is screaming for - ART. He's got ART in his DNA. He has more courage than I ever did! Create Gavin!

Amethyst graduated high school and is rooming with friends nearby.

Our home is a small sustainable agriculture farm situated on a plot with about 12 acres of meadow and 18 acres of hilly woodlands. We have gravity fed spring water. We heat with wood (about 6 cord annually). We also grow organic vegetables, mints and herbs. We raise free range chickens, pigs, icelandic sheep, and a beef steer annually.
