I'm an illustrator, writer, and Literacy Advocate. Reading is important because it is a powerful tool to promote understanding.

Q: Why did you do a story that has has already been done so many times before?
A: My version of Alice is unique because it doesn't change the original story or leave any of it out. I just illustrated it.

Q:You mean you illustrated the entire book? You left nothing out?
A: Yup. Word for word, the entire unabridged story.

Q: What makes your version different?
A: Alice's dress changes color from yellow to blue through the course of the book, and you can see upcoming pages and the backside of previous pages at one point in the book.

Q: What does it mean when you say you can "see upcoming pages'?
A: Some pages are drawn so the upcoming pages are in the background, and some pages are drawn so the background is of the backside of the previous page. It happens during the mad tea party.

Q: What next?
A: I'm actively seeking an agent to gain a larger audience; So far none seem to recognize how much money this could make through Scholastic Books. I just need an updated cover, new intro and to use more detailed pages.

Q:You're saying you would need to redraw the book?
Q: No. The publisher of the current edition limited my file size so I had to really lower the resolution of the pages. The original art has much crisper and vibrant detail.

Q: Anything else?
A: I could give advice; that's cheap enough, eh? Never be content to accept things that keep you from being the best you can be. Don't be afraid to ask questions, and question empty answers.
