Do you have Midway Arcade Treasures 2? It would be great if you could upload all of the developer interviews for APB. They're so fascinating that I spent more time watching them than actually playing the game itself! If only I hadn't lost the disc...

Did you record this Matthew Smith' talk? If so, do you know where I can find his email? Otherwise, where did you get that video and/or, do you have any clue where to find him? I am about to start a portrait of him and would like to get his autorization to start. Or even a better photo + special requests about the technique from him. Cheers, many thanks, and merci beaucoup for uploading a video about the legend.

That`s interesting, I remember a mate (Jabba) who used to be able to put 10p in Joust at 1 o` clock and play `til half past 5, then go for his tea.... impressed the fcuk outa of us lot :D

Pity you didn`t get a better deal, I hear that`s how Activision (or am I wrong?) started, coder`s wanting basically what they were worth :) I`ll try and look for your game !

I saw your video on The Joust Interview and it is great for you and everyone to get the developer's themselves to share. I am working on a game now and I'm quite ancient in video gaming. I created an old by today's standards primative game called Sword of Fargoal with Jeff Mccord for Epyx in 1983. Your interview for Joust was timely for me. Back in those days I lived in Mt. View Ca and ran into one of the programmers who showed me some bugs in Joust and it allowed you to play for hours. I'm sure it's frustrating to the developer but being one myself understandable...Thats why if you have tight deadlines , you will end up releasing it before complete bug-testing( Are you listening Microsoft?) and the result is someone capitalizing on a flaw. I certainly was foolish not signing proper documents and not getting much for a game that sold $750,000 in sales back then. I received only $2500 for my work.

Thanks,

Scott Corsaire
