The Given The Power Project is a national video survey.

For months we had all heard candidates from the right and the left telling us what they would do if they were elected President. And they criticized each other for each other's ideas. But never once did I hear any of them ever ask anyone what WE would do if we were given the power. They read polls and papers. They formed theories and campaign strategies. But wouldn't it have been easier and refreshing actually, to simply ask, WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU WERE ELECTED PRESIDENT? And not just one of us, but AS MANY OF US AS POSSIBLE, to hear as MANY DIFFERENT POINTS OF VIEW AS POSSIBLE. Candidates of the future take heed, your campaigns for power must not begin with your singular ideas or the ideals of your parties. You must first listen to the multitudes.

For not only does the question give you, all of us, the power, but it also burdens you, all of us, with an enormous responsibility. It's not an easy question to answer, but an important one to consider.
