Our Earth Our Earth relies on a balance, in which every being has a role to play and exists only through the existence of another being. A subtle, fragile harmony that is easily shattered. What do we know about life on Earth? How many species are we aware of? A tenth of them? A hundredth perhaps? What do we know about the bonds that link them? The Earth is a miracle. Life remains a mystery. We benefit from a fabulous 4-billion-year-old legacy bequeathed by the Earth. We are only 200,000 years old, but we have changed the face of the world. Agriculture is the world's most widespread occupation. Half of humankind tills the soil, over three-quarters of them by hand. In the last 60 years, the Earth's population has almost tripled. And over 2 billion people have moved to the cities. Shenzhen, in China, with hundreds of skyscrapers and millions of inhabitants, was just a small fishing village barely 40 years ago. In Shanghai, 3,000 towers and skyscrapers have been built in 20 years. Hundreds more are under construction.

I have studied Personal Development and Buddhism for many years, as well as coaching.

Not too long ago, I found out, that one thing is to coach and teach about things your have studied, another thing is to experience it first hand and really get it under your skin.

We always hear about self esteem and strength, and how this is the answer. But after really tasting life, I have found out, that it is not about self esteem and strength. Its about inner peace. Cause with inner peace, everything else fall into place.

You might be thinking, that inner peace is something Buddhist monks have, and that people in the west cant have that. But through life, I have found out, that this is not true.

I found my peace by the help of a series of events. Some experiences that put everything into perspective and made me look in, instead of out.

Experience is not always the kindest of teachers, but it is surely the best, and my meeting with my teacher, really moved some mountains for me. It gave me insights I would not have had, was it not for these incidents, and for that I am very grateful.

Because of this, I use much of my time to write some articles on the blog
"Path to Enlightenment", and on the
"Path to Enlightenment community"
to share my thoughts and teachings on different subjects.
