This channel is about European Union, idea of Federal Europe, European liberalism, globalization, cosmopolitanism and asexuality ...

... it is also about good music, films, books, and pretty much everything I like.

*The Rules of the Channel*

1. I am not against people who love their countries but people, who use patriotism as reason to hate someone else;

2. Do not judge group of people but individuals;

3. If you are not commie or Nazi feel free to add me as a friend;

4. Only a peaceful person can be my friend;

5. I'm not going to talk with you if you say that I'm too young.

Freedom, Equality and Brotherhood!
About Me:

Good day! My name's Joanne, you can call me: Joan or Jo. Here's the brief of my views.

I support maximum liberty in both personal and economic matters. I tend to embrace individual responsibility. I tolerate diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties.

I'm far from any radicalism, so I fight with any from of religious and national radicalism. I think that religion is a private matter; I do not want anyone to be judged by religion.

I do support European Union and Lisbon Treaty but I don't want Turkey to join it. I'm a big supporter of European Federation. I'm proud World Citizen. Why not to love all countries? My pride means ability to explain my views and respect to other points of view as long as it's not fascism or communism.

For me, being proud of nationality, origin, or race is stupid. You can't choose nationality, origin or race so how could you judge anyone because of something that is not chosen. However, there are people who really need something to be proud of and because of lack of their own achieves they are proud of that what they were born with. That's from any discrimination comes from. I hate both (fascism and communism). Both have many in common. I don't hate fascists and communists I just feel sorry to them. They are mostly brainwashed. I also do not like hate to others because of attachment to one country but I do not understand that one country can be better then other just because I was born there. I know that not every patriot is fascist but many times love to country means hate to other nations (many times neighbours). I am not against love I am against hate. For me, no land is not worth anything. I also think that ideology should serve people and never inversely. Now we don't have to die for our homelands, or ideologies. Ground and thoughts shouldn't be reasons to kill or die. I think that Human Rights are these values, which everyone should respect

There is no self-sufficient nation or culture. All of us use achieves of Human Civilization (e.g. counting system, paper, calendar, electricity, alphabet (no matter which one) ect). Every nation and culture has its own contribution to The Human Civilization. That's why we should respect all nations and cultures. People should look for similarities not differences. Of course, there always will be diversity but it's very difficult to cooperate with so many views. I believe that cultures can cooperate. People should respect each others but respect must be mutual. The Western World, which is very tolerant, loses on intolerance from others. People who come to the West Europe have to know that their obligation is to lead way of life according to the culture of country they live in.

I'm pro-globalization because I believe that the more people have in common the better. I'm strongly convinced that nations should be possible most dependent on themselves because this reduces risk of any conflict. Globalization also means easier travelling; that's the best thing about globalization.

I'm in favour of capitalism and democracy. I know that they are not saint but both are best possible choice.

Even so I'm a democrat I think that majority should respect rights of minorities and each individual. I don't understand tolerance as accepting everything but as respect to everyone. I respect everyone's freedom and I want my freedom to be respected. I support free market because I don't want pay for lazy people who think that government will do everything instead of them.

Being an asexual I respect heterosexuals, homosexuals, and bisexuals; I think that people's sexual orientation doesn't depend on them but it is random. Asexuality is a feature of a person who believes in real love. I do believe in it. I believe that no physical contact but common interests and hobbies, time spent together and features of character can create a real relationship. An asexual is a person who sees human in another person, human with feelings and intelligence, not only 'a piece of meat' like (homo- and hetero-) sexuals. Sexuality has always meant violence and rape, asexuality has always meant love - pure love.

I'm a technocrat, because I believe that only specialists can make something useful for the world. Technocracy means rule of those who know their job best not dazzled by ideology or well-born ones.

I think that we should care about what we achieved. Our beloved freedom needs to be cherished and developed otherwise it could die. I don't accept any movement which promotes radical ideas such as fascism, communism any religious radicalism. I have nothing to peaceful believers of any religion.

Thank you.

Interests:
First of all, as an introvert I fight shy of crowds. This means you will not find any kind of team sports amongst my interests, but it does not mean I'm a person who has no hobbies and whose only hobby is to I do is to sit in front of TV and drink coffee with milk. No, there are several things that entertain me. I like creative technology, hi-tech, computers, and computing at all. I read web sites and magazines about that. I like playing on consoles. Of course, I couldn't imagine my life without surfing the Net. Most of the time I spent in the Net I'm on YouTube. I really like to be keep-up-to-date and I'm interest into news and media, I like watching programs about current affairs especially about current situation in European Union. I'm passionate about travelling and learning about new cultures. I'm getting my knowledge form books about other cultures, TV programs and on-line series like 'Journeyman Pictures', or 'National Geographic', also from TV channels like Travel Channel. I believe that the more exotic cultures are more interesting but I eagerly learn about less exotic ones. I'm a cinemagoer; I also like watching films at home on DVDs and Blu-Rays. I really like watching, anime, amerime (amine-like western cartoons) and good films (my favourite genres are action films, horrors, adventure, sci-fi, crime stories, and thrillers from time to time some good documentaries). Listening to music is my great passion too. I used to be a big fan of fantasy books. Now my favourite literature genres are contemporary literature, manga, western comics, books about politics, travel books, books about different cultures, and non-fiction. Nowadays I don't read as much as I used to do because as a student I've got many set-books to read and in my free time I prefer to do something else.
Movies:
It might be childish but may a 19-year-old girl not have a possibility to watch a cartoon as she want to. My favourite are: 'Power Rangers', 'Shaun the Sheep', 'Beyblade', 'Doctor Who', 'Spider-man', 'Huntik: Secrets and Seekers', 'Lou!', 'The Powerpuff Girls', 'Carl2', 'Bakugan Battle Brawlers', 'American Dragon: Jake Long', 'Mulan', 'Puss in Boots', and all parts of 'Shrek'. I eagerly watch most of anime like 'Tokyo Majin', 'Fist of the North Star', 'Bleach. Memories of Nobody','Trinity Blood', 'Puella Magi Madoka Magica', and many, many other. But I watch not only cartoons and anime I also watch films (most of them are action, adventure and fantasy films). My favourite are: 'Billy Eliott', 'The Shutka Book of Records', 'Resolution 819', 'The Last of the Mohicans', 'Seabiscuit', 'Archangel', 'The Soviet Story', 'Pirates of the Caribbean', 'Harry Potter', 'Lord of the Rings', 'The Three Musketeers', 'Mephisto', 'I am David', 'The Peacemaker', 'V for Vendetta', Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows', The 007 Series, and many, many more. I also like watching music channels (e.g. VIVA) and, of course, some info channels too. I also like watching Travel Channel; my favourite programs are 'Glob Trekker', 'Third Class Traveller', 'Working Holiday', 'Intrepid Journeys' and 'Indian Times'. From time to time I like to watch some documentaries for example: 'Dancing Boys of Afghanistan', 'Gypsy Child Thieves' and similar ones.
Music:
I like music between rock and pop. My favourite bands are: A Friend In London (AFIL), Paloma Faith, Paramore, Within Temptation, Muse, Green Day, and The Rasmus. My favourite female singers are: Lilly Allen, Melanie C, Nelly Furtado, Adele, Amy Winehouse, and Katie Melua. My favourite male singers are: Robbie Williams and Alexander Rybak. I'm trying to be keep-up-to-date with charts. I like watching music channels like VIVA and 4FUN TV.
Books:
I've mentioned my favourie genres above. My favourite authors are: George Orwell (e.g. 'Animal Farm', '1984'); Yuri Fleshtinsky (e.g. 'FSB Bows up Russia'); Robert Kaplan (e.g. 'Balkan ghosts: A Journey Through History', 'Eastward to Tartary: Travels in the Balkans, the Middle East, and the Caucasus'); Friedrich Hayek (e.g. 'The Road to Serfdom', 'The Constitution of Liberty'); Kwame Anthony Appiah (e.g. 'Cosmopolitanism: Ethics in a World of Strangers'); Milton Friedman (e.g. 'Free to Choose'); David Landes (e.g. 'The Wealth and Poverty of Nations: Why Some are so Rich and Some so Poor'); Maria Todorova (e.g. 'Imagining The Balkans'); Samuel Huntington (e.g. 'The Third Wave of Democratization', 'The Clash of Civilizations'); Gazmend Kapllani (e.g. 'A Short Border Handbook'); Slavenka Drakulić (e.g. 'They Would Never Hurt a Fly. War criminals on trial in the Hague'); Christos Tsiolkas (e.g. 'Dead Europe'), Eilon Colfer (e.g. 'Artemis Fowl'). Manga: 'Axis Powers Hetalia', 'Dead Note', 'One Piece', '.hack', and more, and Western comics (e.g. 'Essential: The Amazing Spider-man').
