(google search) which the Spanish authority did close down, but up and running now thanks to all the supporters and volunteers. Established more than 20 years ago by British ex -pat Jane Reynolds, the Centro Canino Internacional, is now in it's third decade of fighting for animal rights. Helping to protect and care for abandoned, unwanted pets from all over Mallorca but mainly from the south-west and Palma City. Thank you. The prestigious Visual Arts Biennial of the Central American decided that the 'installation' of the poor dog starved to death in an art gallery was actually art, so that Guillermo Vargas Habacuc was invited to repeat his cruel action for the biennial of 2008. For several days, the 'artist' and the visitors of the exhibition watched emotionless the shameful 'masterpiece' based on the dog's agony, until eventually he died.
Influences:
Animal welfare, the arts, current affairs, local & national news. Radio broadcasting, print & magazine design. Pro-age where a career has no age limit. The thrill is in the chase, never in the capture.
Favorite News Sources
Various. Mainly hard graft. Many weeks of research and hours of checking and rechecking data. No stone unturned.
