Hi, my name is Tami Harris. I'm an inventor and you may have seen me on the ABC show American Inventor (Season 2 - Episode 2). I was a San Francisco finalist for my invention, the Frostingo Electric Cake Decorator. Being on the show was one of my most exciting adventures. George Foreman was one of the judges and he said he loved my invention! My first patent was just approved after 3 long years of waiting and hoping! (I'm working on my second patent now). Now that the patent has been approved, I'm working on a licensing agreement with a major cake decorating supply company (for those of you who decorate cakes you know who I'm talking about) so cross your fingers for me, or say a little prayer if you're so inclined, and hopefully you'll be seeing it on store shelves in the near future!
I'm also an artist, crafter and jewelry designer. I work in many different artistic mediums and I've done just about every kind of craft you can imagine so you never know what you might find for sale on my Etsy website (Bedazzling Designs). I make jewelry, wooden toys, quilts, perfume bottles, dollhouse miniatures, refrigerator magnets, candle votives, and many other hand-crafted one-of-a-kind items that you won't find anywhere else. So, what you'll find there will depend on my latest creative obsession!
