I have a video project for my Physics class that's due tomorrow. I've never made a movie before. This series is a perfect example of how helpful Bucky's free tutorials are, because now I can make an awesome video in one night, and stop worrying about looking up tons of Adobe tutorials.

@AesmaDiv I was thinking the same thing.... He was traversing the array of integers as if each box were containing 2 bytes instead of 4 bytes (probably confusing them as shorts). After the (char *) type cast, he would end up with a pointer to the 4th "box", or arr[3].

@humpsato10 He makes the "receiving" variables Strings because the member method 'showInputDialog' returns a String... If you said

int fn = JOptionPane.showInputDialog("Some text");

It would get confused because you are returning a String value and trying to dump it into an integer.
