Ghost Writah is a Rockford, IL Rapper, Producer, Hip Hop Commentator, Concert and Music promoter and Label Owner born in Indianapolis, Indiana moved to Rockford when he was one year old. In his younger years is when music started emerging into his life he was quoted "since i was little i have always been surrounded by music i was a big fan of 50's, 60's,70's and Motown, thats where i got my love for music. U can't get better than Motown." When he got into his teens is when he started getting more involved in music he started writing music and learning aspects of the music business he was quoted, "i have alwayz had a lot of love for music since i was little i have so much love for music i dont even think people really know how much i love music but it was a natural thing I loved music so much I just started writing it. I wanted to know everything I could about music
When ghost writah was in middle school is when he started freestyle battling other rappers and getting his name out there in the rap community as one of the biggest threats: there were a couple of rap groups when i was in middle school I was one of the only solo rappers so I held my own but I had fun freestylin and battlin other rappers u kno u get a big crowd around ur showin off ur skillz and he showin of hiz skillz he could say hez tha best I could say Im the best but itz up 2 the crowd what they think is the best but I neva was that rapper that said Im the best Im the king but I am the realist and thats where they couldnt beat me on. I remember I when I was in 8th grade there was an assignment that my English teacher wanted us to do basically it was write a poem or something like that about a certain subject and I neva did shit in that class but I wanted to do something so I wrote thiz rap and thiz is back in 2004 where there were a lot of things goin on in the world at that time. I wanted to express my feelings about that so I did I performed it in class an I got a standing ovation and I really think at that point it was set in stone that thiz is what I wanna do. After middle school is when ghost writah started getting involved in the streets, u kno im not goin say what ive done and what I havent done but im goin say is the tha thingz that ive done in tha past made me who I am today everthing happens 4 a reason. When ghost writah got into high school is when people started to recognize that he was highly involved in the rap scene in Rockford. He developed the idea of forming a production company and the thought that would soon become his debut mix tape P.O.V City. The mix tape was orignally titled "The Point Of View." The mix tape has been in production for 3 years but was released November 8th, 2008. the mix tape feat. TheBlockcuttaz, LostChild, Sir Nasty,Tah Boggi, A.K.A Tah Reallah and many more." In early 2008, the mix tapes orignal name, "The Point Of View," was shortened down to "P.O.V City" The lead single off the mix tape is "Ridin In My City," which is produced by the orignal P-Dub and co-produced by Rick Riley. The second single off the mix tape is "Big Swangaz" features Paul Wall and Chamillionaire A Chopped and screwed version for the P.O.V City mixtape is set to be released 9/1/09 The mixtape was Chopped and Screwed By J.O.T.S he is also a new artist signed to Point of View Productions. Ghost writah has also started on his second mix tape that is in the works and is now finshed the title of the mixtape is No Honor Among Thives ghost writah was quoted when asked about his second mixtape "its not going 2 hav as many features as P.O.V City but it will have a couple I gave yall the features on tha first one but the second one is all me really the second mix tape is bout some of the thingz that happened in between the first and second mix tape some of the situations I had 2 handle and go through in the past year and Im gonna expose some of these fake hatin ass people 4 who they are the first single will be released sometime 4th quarter 2009 ghost writah was quoted when asked about the second mix tape and what it will bring to the streets its gonna bring a lot of rawness 2 the streets I got a lot of tracks on thurr that a lot of people gonna feel thurrz gonna be a track on thurr 4 the eurrybody itz time 2 not let shit slide anymore im bringn out the big gunz on thiz one ima show people who tha fuck iz real and who the fuck iz fake this is just a warning shot.
