I read 7 verses from the Bible:
Romans 3:23 -
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
Romans 6:23 -
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord
John 3:3 -
Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God"
John 14:6 -
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Romans 10:9 -
If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
2nd Corinthians 5:15 -
[Christ] died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.
Revelation 3:20 -
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
You never know when you are going to die or when Christ is going to return. You don't want to stand before God without being clothed in Christ's salvation. (salvation means "preservation or deliverance from destruction, difficulty, or evil.")
Christ's death is the only way that your sins can be overlooked and that you can be truly made righteous in the eyes of God. Doing good things is useless in this respect.
(righteous means "Morally upright- without guilt or sin")
So be prepared. Make your choice now to believe and trust in Jesus Christ for salvation and righteousness. He is the only way, the only truth, and the only life. Invite Him into your heart.
