Just so if you're curious to know what I use to edit, I use Ulead VideoStudio 11. It's great for beginners but it also has tools for intermediate editors like me. I plan to use Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere Pro later.
Expensive video editors aren't always good, though there are a few free editors(Google them) such as:
VirtualDub
Avid Free DV (Prosumer)
Video Spin (Cut down version of Pinnacle)
Wax (3D Capability)
Zwei-Stein
Jahshaka (Community Support)
Windows Movie Maker (Beginners)

The box gem is suposed to be the only one, but when I got back to the warproom, Crash pulled out TWO gems instead of one. I don't even know how it happened...
