I use a program called Stop MotionMakerHDMI to capture the frames (it's similar to iStopMotion but for PC). It's not free though. I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 for mouth animation and some effects, Gimp is similar but free. I then use Adobe Premiere Elements 9 to edit it all together and for more effects. I use Audacity to record audio (it's free).
