This is the only car for which I don't mind either onboard or track camera views. All other cars I prefer the onboard, but the sound coming from this car is unbelievable from the trackside. It sounds like a monster trying to bite your f-in head off.

You know, the commentator keeps saying "Traction control makes it easier to accelerate earlier" which is true. But for this lap, the gurgle of traction control was nowhere to be seen; Jenson Button is one of the smoothest drivers in F1.

@prod1gy3000 Exactly. And let's not forget the fact that these cars were brutal to drive, certainly more so than the one's of today. H-pattern Manual transmission, many fewer safety regulations, much worse aerodynamics. You needed serious cojones to drive these cars.

The sound is actually quite realistic also. The problem is that in these videos, for some reason, the sound is crap. It could be the encoding of the videos, but probably the capturing process messes them up.

This is probably one of the more underrated anthems. The opening chords, simply by themselves, are brilliantly beautiful, let alone the whole song. Gorgeous piece. (I'm an American, if that matters to anyone)
