These videos have been made to supplement my blog http://gerry-daughters-of-the-shadow-men.blogspot.com and at Azcentral.com my blog G4LIFE as well as to attract viewers interested in my experience of struggling with a dad I thought was gay who would have denied it with his dying breath. Early molestation by two of dad's male connections compounded the issue, leading to mental illness diagnosis and life time disability. I strived to keep my sense of humor and determination to become a playwright, novelist, memoir writer, and now video maker.
Doc Emde is my acting partner who has been my lay psychiatrist for the last 3 years despite his alcoholic ways. I am driven to discuss his drinking in our videos, but so far rehab is a distant possibility. Doc helped me film "Aunt Santhea" which I wrote for my dad to play the man masquerading as an old lady to steal a inheritance. My wary but talented father refused to play the role.
