The Miller and the Brook
The Miller: When a loyal heart Perishes from love, The lilies wither in every field; The full moon must hide itself in the clouds, So people won't see its tears; And the angels close Their eyes And sob and sing His soul to peace. Der Bach: And when love frees Itself from pain, A little star, a new one, Twinkles in the sky; And three roses spring, Half red and half white, That never wither, From the thorny stem. And the angels cut off Their wings And every morning Go down to earth. The Miller: Oh brook, dear brook, You mean so well: Oh brook, but do you know What love does to you? Ah, below, down there, The cool repose! Oh brook, dear brook, Just sing to me.

The most beautiful and inspired melody ever written, isn't it? I don't feel any kind of video or visual is adequate for this music. Too much action , with hands flying all over the keyboard ( Liszt made sure it is one of the most difficult transcriptions - ever ) . To fully enjoy it , download a free MP3 at my Google Music store: https://market.an... Outside of US download here : http://tinyurl.co... If you feel creative, please go ahead and make better visuals - or just use it as a soundtrack for a self-made Christmas card, or share it with your friends as is... Enjoy - and Merry Christmas !!!! The video was recorded a week ago , in Hannover - for "Liszt project", my attempt to recreate old style recording -- with final result being an fully analogue vinyl LP... PS. Turns out Google music is not available for non-US users. I uploaded it on file-sharing and links are available at my twitter account ( ValLisitsa) and Facebook. or directly: http://tinyurl.co...
Sheet music is available at IMSLP here ( it is a beautiful first edition in public domain ): http://tinyurl.co...

VADIM CHAIMOVICH, piano recital at the Ortenburg Castle, Bavaria (Germany)
Could I embody and unbosom now That which is most within me,--could I wreak My thoughts upon expression, and thus throw Soul--heart--mind--passions--feelings--strong or weak-- All that I would have sought, and all I seek, Bear, know, feel--and yet breathe--into one word, And that one word were Lightning, I would speak; But as it is, I live and die unheard, With a most voiceless thought, sheathing it as a sword.
Lord Byron, "Childe Harold's Pilgrimage"
