I don't need to be an expert in the style to see that other people singing this give more plasticity to the little roulades as in 2:24. Eve...

Wonderful singing, wonderful innuendo, and for once on YouTube (regarding that particular performance): wonderful quality!

If this is part of an entire filmed concert, it would be the earliest Caballé on film after the 1966 Paris concert, and along with the Orange Trovatore... I hope it is indeed one! And if it is, it's a must have for every Opera fan.

Absolutely NO-ONE in their right mind can vote negative on this. Caballe is without any par here! Pure glory and splendid sculpting of each phrase, such poignancy!

Without the slightest doubt Montserrat. Regal in her own, unique way, which is worth hundreds of times more than those who unsuccessfully try to "act" all Elisabethan.
