This is not the original which was recorded in 1940. The Andrew sister rerecorded many of their hit songs much later.

Of course Bing and the Andrews sisters would have a larger selling record than Roy Rogers, they were the top singers at that time. They would get more radio air time.

Gener Autry, Glenn Miller, Fats domino, Louis Armstrong all had hits with this song.

Unlike today, in the 30s and 40s many records of the same song were put out by many different artits. Louis Armstrong also had a great record of this song in the 50's. Its on YouTube.

I love watchfing the Welk shows on PBS and see the different mnembers who have been on since the show first went on the air in 1956. Even though they divorced he never did stop loving her.
