The Lightyears play high-energy, harmony-led pop songs with melodies that really count. The band have been compared to The La's, The Beach Boys and Ben Folds Five. Imagine Pet Sounds, but played with the energy of a meat-starved velociraptor.

Live highlights include performances at Glastonbury Festival 2005, London's Marquee Club, Liverpool's Cavern Club and a live appearance on ITV. 2006 sees them touring all over the world including France and Belgium, USA and South Korea.
