About Me:
As for myself:
Nonconformist, raised by hippies, and cultured by punks, drunks and professors. I don't drink anymore myself, I shun patchouli, bathe regularly, and have not allowed 9-11 to shake my core beliefs. I think I took away the right things.
I don't care about trends or what other people think is cool. I don't have any body art. I don't listen to hip-hop, or most other DJ manufactured sound. I don't always get along with the Left, but I dislike the values of the Right.
I like religion as a topic, but am not a religious person. More into existentialism and metaphysics than the established norms of belief, although I am tempered by logical skepticism. I dont automatically believe just any asserted truth.
I believe we (humans) are an overly self-important, self-interested, self-righteous race of tiny beings infesting a tiny world, in an enormously diverse and multi-faceted omni-verse. Do you find that disturbing or frightening? Then it will probably really freak you out even more that I derive peace from those thoughts. (I suggest the back-button, warm cocoa and a blanket. I like to help.) It doesn't get any better from here on in.
Listen: Somewhere in the immediate galactic neighborhood is a peaceful agrarian culture that grows starships out of genetically enhanced giant gourds, engages in ancestor worship, and places art above all else. (They most likely DO NOT have two eyes, two nostrils, one mouth, etc., due to complete lack on common ancestry) At best present speeds, it would take us two million years to reach them, which would be a waste of time, since they will have been extinct for thirty thousand years by the time we get there.
Get it?
"Magic is just science we don't understand yet."
—Arthur C. Clark
"Nobody's perfect. Well, there was this one guy, but we killed him."
—Christopher Moore
"A mind is like a parachute. It doesnt work if it's not open."
—Frank Zappa
"Engaging in 'us vs. them' thinking says a lot more about us than it does about them!"
—D'Range's Law

How long will we be allowed to do this? Stay tuned!
THE ANSWER: It would take the farmable land masses of FOUR planet Earths to grow enough grain to feed all the meat animals necessary to feed the entire planet the way we Americans eat every day.
F...ed up either way!
