ათასი ჭირის მნახველის,
ათასჯერ გაყიდულისა.
ან ტოტი ვიყო იმ ვარდის,
ეკლებში ამოსულისა.
რო ზედ ბულბული გალობდეს,
სმენა ტკბებოდეს ყურისა,
ანაც სამსხვერპლო ზვარაკი
ჩვენის წესის და რჯულისა,
ან ერთი თესლის მარცვალი
იმ წინაპართა ხნულისა,
ვინაც სამშობლოს იცავდნენ
და მსხვერპლნი გახდნენ შურისა,
ერში დატოვეს სახელი,
ჭირიმე იმათ სულისა.
მაგრამ არც ერთი არა ვარ,
თქმა მმართებს სინანულისა,
გუდა ვარ, ფიქრთა საწყაო
