About this user

Well, I am better known a 'Geo Ghost' in the online world. The 'PBS' originally stood for a production name which has since become obsolete with the introduction of Safir Photography & productions.

My name is Richard and I have no problem with anyone using my real name.

I'm 20 years old and studying a Foundation Degree in Media Production in England.

I've always had an interest in filming and editing, even from a young age with those huge VHS tape recorders (was hell carrying that around as a youngster)

I am starting to make more videos these days from travel logs, scenic videos, aviation videos and to small short-films and such.

As you might see by some of my videos, I have travelled to Norway a lot in the past (roughly 6 times since March 2008) .
I enjoy travelling and seeing the world and being able to capture that and share it to everyone else.

I love to make videos. From planning, to filming and then to editing.
Also I have an interest in photography and have recently acquired a Nikon D200 for taking pictures.

The video camera I use is a Sony HDV-HC5 HandyCam.
I have also used a range of other semi-pro and professional equipment from Cannon XM2's, Sony FX1's, JVC HD 100E, etc

I use Adobe Premier Elements 7 for editing at home. However I have now added Adobe CS4 Production premium to that which includes Premier Pro, After Effects, Soundbooth etc.
I currently work on DV tape and have been starting to make a transition from SD to HD and occasionally recording to memory cards.
For major projects and work done at college/university I edit on Final Cut Pro 6 which I am very complacent with.
