Genuinevibes captures real moments in time. It has been capturing moments yet to be released for the last 8 years since its inception date. A story that is real about Hollywood. What a journey Genuine Vibes has made to get to this point. Genuine Vibes has been captured on a few different cameras. It started on mini DV, its only capabilities accessible at the time. It has been captured at several places by still cameras over the last 8 years. With the world we live in, this time digital media has provided us with technology in order to capture these very real moments. So if you want to know what Hollywood is REALLY all about you want check out Genuine Vibes. Also over the years we have been able to follow several of the VI(Ps of the club scene. There are so many to name. We do have to give props to Hermantown; he has the best industry crowd that's genuine we have been able to capture. As well as Sean Antonio who also holds it down. Paramount Studios and Hollywood Castle New Years Eve last two years, enough said. So many amazing nights as far as vibe goes I have to say Giant has been a big part of bringing a genuine vibe. Its energy at times has been some of the most amazing in town. Of course on a big scale Insomniac events know how to throw a party. Pasqual and Forest keep doing what you are doing. Too many others to list.
Over this past 2 years we upgraded to a Sony AVCHD (sony HD version of blue-ray) as well as wireless audio by Sennheiser. In December 2006, Sony released this technology. This camera is much more light weight and versatile than HD cameras of the past. It was the camera of choice that we purchased before the big Paramount NYE party that featured The Killers and was hosted by Carmen Electra. The shoot went great; we were impressed by the features of this camera built in HD that allows you to shoot 30G of memory. The internet now has the technology to watch HD over the web. So we shoot strickly in HD. Although we edited Paramount on Final Cut, the AVCHD format was not as user friendly as it is on the PC. So then we acquired a Sony Vaio as well as the software Pinnacle which was the first program AVCHD was able to convert to edit. The program struggled to handle the footage. So then Sony Vegas 8.0 came out and it was upgraded to flow seamlessly when editing the AVCHD format. So over here at Genuine Vibes we support PC and Sony. So in today's digital world the competition is steep and really it's all a matter of choice. Mac and PC you are brothers, get along. You both just have your own way of doing things; learn to accept.
This year we shot in conjunction with Discovery Channel's Planet Green Network, Alter Ecco. The show covered the rebuild of ECCO, Hollywood's first ecco-friendly club. Surprising a lot of people who thought Sony's camera was not good enough for TV. Thanks again Sony. Now we have the New Year upon us as we prepare for NYE 2009. We also are working with Club Planet. The name says it all. They are currently based out of New York and Hollywood and we are their official production company. They are going to be providing the outlet for many to see.
