My favorite track from a great album. These cats are really smokin'. Horace Parlan has always been a vastly underrated talent. Both Parlan-lead quintet dates for Blue Note as well as Stanley Turrentine's quintet date "Comin' Your Way" featuring the same players are great.

Ha! Never knew Hank Jones was referred to as "Bad Henry." I have so many recording where Hank was the pianist. The master indeed. Seems like he was everywhere in the 1950's and 1960's. Cranshaw also mentions Tommy Flanagan, another master.
