Long time UK Blues fan since 1964 when I saw Chuck Berry in London and then the Yardbirds (with EC on guitar) as support at the Beatles 1964 Xmas Show.

Went to Chicago in 1971 and saw Junior and Buddy at Theresa's and Hound Dog Taylor at a bar on the West Side on a Sunday morning.

Then went down to Shreveport and interviewed Stan Lewis of Jewel Records at his record shop. On return to the UK got an article published in Melody Maker (Richard Williams the Editor, typed it out for me).
